Every year First Lite raises the bar with new high tech clothing designed with hunters in mind. 2017 is no different. First Lite has expanded their very popular Aerowool line, added key outerwear gear designed for women, and even threw in a couple surprises no one saw coming! The First Lite Women's Headband is a versatile lightweight Merino headband that keeps hair out of the way while regulating body heat and transporting moisture away from the skin during high activity or warm weather hunting. It's versatile fit can be worn over the ears in cold weather or used to hold hair up when the temps heat up.

Women are shaped differently than men. For some reason that is lost on most of the hunting industry, but not on First Lite. This year they have added the Cascade Stormlight Jacket. Waterproof, breathable, and lightweight, with a feminine fit that she will love! This is a must have for the backcountry, but will work just as well in those wet urban environments.

First Lite Aurora Puffy Jacket

The First Lite Aurora Puffy Jacket is finally here! This women's puffy is probably the most versatile piece in First Lite's line of gear for women. Offered in Cipher, Fusion, Black and Conifer. With built in stretch, and cut specifically for the needs of today's active female hunters. This compressible insulation piece provides quick-access warmth for cold weather or low-activity pursuit. Body-mapped insulation and wind-blocking fabrics maintain core heat while preserving full range-of-motion.

2017 First Lite Aerowool Additions

In 2016 First Lite introduced Aerowool. Combining Merino wool with Cocona 37.5 treated polyester gives you the durability and wicking power of polyester, with the comfort and odor protection of Merino wool. Aerowool excels in warmer climates where it's important to keep the body temperature regulated while maintaining fabric durability, but it's also great as a base layer at keeping the sweat pulled away from your body on those steep hikes in cold temps. New for 2017 First Lite has expanded its Aerowool product to include boxer briefs, and a short sleeve top.

First Lite Benmore Boxer Brief with AEROwool

Excellent moisture transport and breathability make this lightweight Benmore Boxer Brief an excellent base layer for active hunts with periods of high-activity. Mid thigh, 4” inseam for moderate coverage in hot weather. I know a lot of guys have been asking for these!

First Lite Minaret Short Sleeve Crew with AEROwool

The First Lite Minaret SS Crew with AEROwool is made for hunters looking for breathability and temperature regulation during early season hot weather. Short Sleeves are a welcome addition to the Aerowool line, and the new conifer color might just make it a great daily use shirt too.

First Lite Obsidian Pants

Replacing the very popular Kanab pants, the First Lite Obsidian Pants have a blended Merino-Nylon fabric, and have added body-mapped stretch nylon reinforcement. The new pants will be more comfortable, have a stretch that moves with you and will be much more durable! With new zippered pockets, and suspenders included, you'll find improvements all around.

First Lite Uncompahgre Pants

The First Lite Uncompahgre Pants are a compressible 100gm insulation bottom that provides quick-access warmth for cold weather glassing and overnight protection at camp. Not only do they have 3/4 side zippers for easy on/off, they also include body-mapped insulation and wind-blocking fabrics to maintain core heat while preserving full range-of-motion. Weighing only 18oz these pants are also treated with a DWR to repel rain and snow.

A new merino/insulated hybrid jacket has sparked the most interest of all the New 2017 First Lite gear. I can’t wait to get my hands on one!

First Lite Sawtooth Hybrid Jacket

The First Lite Sawtooth Hybrid Jacket is a ultra-versatile jacket designed to regulate body temperature and protect the core from crosswinds. A body mapped mix of 320gm merino and 60 gm synthetic insulation earns this Jacket a serious consideration for sure. It's a silent, scent-free jacket that excels both as an outer layer in moderate temperatures, or as a layering piece when the mercury drops. Its an excellent tree stand piece for early season, or layering in cold weather.
