All I can say is tight.
Had a pro Archery store set my sight,
Hit a three D deer at 70 yards down hill and a quartering shot hit the silver spot.wow what sight. Good day at the range. Thank you S&S
Archery . PS thanks for fast mailing.
I ended up going with the S&S pro hunter 5 pin. The green, green, yellow, green, green pin configuration is fantastic. Yellow is always 40 yards and I either count up or down from there. Having no red pins makes it nice, since red stars pretty bad for my eyes. My last two pins are .10 which is great especially for my slider, which is my bottom pin right on my bubble. I did not go with the dovetail, but rather the ML3 frame. It makes the sight quite a bit lighter and keeps the sight closer to the riser without sticking out too much. Just a great all around setup. Thanks to Rob helping point me in the right direction.
Great site and great place to purchase from also fast shipping
Everything about this sight has been phenomenal. I have been looking for a three pin slider for so long, with indecisiveness. I called S&S and was quickly sold on this sight. Received it, out of the box it looked and felt great. The .010 bottom pin is forever going to be a nonnegotiable for me. The quality is top notch, dont think twice on this sight.
Set up was a breeze, even for my first time owning a black gold, or any three pin slider.
Put it on my bow and adjusted the dovetail perfectly for my peep, then roughed in my axis'.
I shoot heavier arrows so in order to get the most range out of my sight, I dropped my top pin (20) to the middle of the sight housing, instead of jacking it up to the top. Then I placed the 255fps (my speed) behind my pins to rough in my 30, and 40, using the sight tape marks.
I wanted the top of my slider to read 30 yards for my bottom pin. So I sighted in the bottom pin for thirty (by using gang adjustments). Marked the indicator with a sharpie. dialed back to find 40, 50, and 60 and marked them. Went back to my sight tapes and decided on the 265.5fps sight tape was the perfect fit for my marks. (it will rarely be exactly to your fps because distance away from riser will mess this all up)
From there I set the slider to my home base, which is 40, and perfected the 30 and 20 yard pins at that setting.
Been 10 ringing ever since from every distance.
