Vapor Trail Gen Integrate 8x

Having used a number of rests and a fair number of various Hamskea's as well, I greatly prefer the VT. Well made, easy to install, light weight and works flawlessly.

Hampskea versus Gen 7x I have all versions of hampskea limb driven rests and the worst in my opinion is the epsilon! The bracket on the drop away chord is junk is a pain to adjust cheap plastic and why they switched to that instead of the spring tension chord is in my opinion because it is cheaper! When I use my spring tension trinity rests I pull down the chord ready to shoot and when I’m Done shooting simply slide it back up to the slack position and the spring never wears out and when you need to put the bow in the vice to make rest adjustment during tuning very quick and easy unlike that plastic set screw junk you have to fiddle with that never stays adjusted junk. I bought the expensive spring styles and switched all my six hampskea rests to that style nuff said! The GEN 7or 8 rests are way better rests no launcher arm slapping the shelf or clearance issues ever no springs or plastic crap on the limb chord to constantly fiddle with there compact light and state of the art compared to the overrated hampskea rest’s period in my opinion and it’s a good one because I been in the archery game over 50 years and I know what works and what doesn’t! Big bad Robert the Marine I’ll be calling again as he always is a real pleasure to deal with with his expertise knowledge and I’ll be getting me some more gen rests to replace my hampskea antique design over rated dinosaur rests amen!

very simple to set up and adjust. took minutes to get perfect arrow flight from the time I opened the box, installed and went out to the range. Quiet. I am very happy with the rest! The option of which ever limb to use is nice. I went to the bottom limb to use the pulley that came installed, had a twang/ buzz on release. the cord was vibrating against the rest. A strip of moleskin under the cord and its perfectly quiet. The mounting system is rock solid and keeps the bow a bit more streamlined.

After over 50 years of sending arrows sailing to the target and game rests have came a long way! I have the gen 8 and it’s fantastic and the sideways launcher is very unique and out of the way and the weight of the rest and the micro adjustments are also state of the art! Big bad Robert the marine wouldn’t sell just any rest as he’s a top archer and a fantastic marine as he served his country honorably as he will you so give him a call you will be happy you did and rest assured the gen 8 will have you busting x after x my friends!!!
