S&S Archery CL Backcountry Trekking Poles
I havent found any other brand that comes close to performing like these did. I am very happy with the way they feel in the hand, and how STRONG they are with being so light you don't even feel them. I'm about 250lbs in hunting season and packed over half a nice 5 point bull in my Exo for miles using these. At times I only used one in some steep areas and it was able to take all the abuse and weight. Twist lock design did not slip once. Very impressed
Very impressed, super lightweight and strong best of both. I was a little skeptical about the twists locks, I’m 6’2” 300 lbs and I’ve definitely put them to the test! Highly recommended
I never was a believer in trekking poles until I tried them. I jumped right in with these CL Backcountry Trekking Poles and don't think I'll ever look back. My hunting partners had other brands and had to keep raising them because the locks kept slipping. I never had to adjust these from slippage, even when putting a lot of pressure on the poles when slipping and almost falling. The grips were comfortable and the poles were way lighter than the others my buddies have. I have 0 complaints on these things. You won't be disappointed when ordering them. They are definitely worth the money. Looking forward to many more years and miles with these!
I was a little hesitant about these poles. I am not a big fan of twist lock poles. But with that said I knew that these we’re throughly tested. Well what a pleasant surprise, these are the smoothest locking trekking poles I have ever seen. The carbon looks very high quality. The foam grips are very comfortable and these are very light weight. It’s about time someone developed trekking poles especially suited for the backcountry hunter. Great job guys
I just tried these for the first time about a week ago and have used them on several hikes since then. I will say these are very lightweight, yet will not slip or bend. I was amazed at how stout they were for as light as they are. The carbide tip still looks brand new after using and abusing it on the rocky trails of Idaho. If you're looking for a good, solid trekking pole that gets the job done, give these a try you wont be disappointed.
