Excellent thumb release. I Shoot it with back tension so the release shoots even better. Once your desired trigger tension is set, it is so smooth and sweet to shoot. Love it. Thanks for a good quality product.

Crisp and comfy

Switched to a handheld/thumb release after agitating my ulnar nerve with a wrist release. Was able to hold the Whipper Snapper at local shop, but really wanted open hook and three finger, so ended up going with FND from S&S. Very happy with it so far after adjusting my peep and getting used to new anchor point. Trigger came pretty hot out of the box, but a couple turns with allen fixed that. Likely going to get another for backup in the field. Note this did not come with leather strap like old versions did. I like the lower profile in my hand when properly holding. The Whipper Snapper felt great in store too, but comes out a little further past your medial phalange. One advantage of the WS is the trigger can close the hook, while the FDL needs to be reset, but that doesn't bother me and is just part of my routine. Highly recommend the Friday Night Delight.
