Spot Hogg Hogg It Custom

This is my third Spot Hogg sight. I have the 7 Deadly Pins, The Grind and now The Hogg-It, I just love the durability, affordability. This bow sights are bulletproof.

I am going on an Idaho Elk Hunt in September 2023, so I am just getting ready for it.

I ran a hog-it site years ago and sold it with a bow that I had for sale. In my opinion this is the top pin sight on the market. It’s going to be a welcome addition to my new Matthews V3X 29. The customer service was excellent as always, this was a custom order and received it in a very short period of time. I really like the new upgrades the MRT rings and the lighter dovetail. This is also the most adjustable site that I’ve ever owned. I highly recommend it give it a try you won’t regret it.

So far the Hogg-It is perfect. I needed the longer sight to get the pins farther away from my eyes to help with my vision issues, blurry pins.

The first time I adjusted the horizontal micro adjust it failed. The allen screw spins with little resistance and no horizontal movement. Contacted Spot Hogg and I am waiting for there response. Any help would be appreciated.

Several years ago I hunted with 5 pin Hogg-IT. I loved that sight. I had three of them. I sold those with bows that I was selling. I wanted to be able to shoot up to 120 yards. The Hogg-IT with 5 pins could not reach 100 with having distances from 20 - 100. So I went to another very expensive sight. This sight was loud when adjusting the sight up and down to go from shorter to longer distances and that was not good. I had problems with consistency and my shooting suffered. Finally I looked for another Hogg-IT. Found S&S and configured the color of the pins on a Hogg-IT 7 Pin and ordered the sight. I took it out the first day and shot 40 yards. WOW!!!! I was able to shoot a 1 inch group consistently. That's what I remember! With the MRT system my consistency came back. My confidence is back. I love archery again.
I now have two identical 7 pin Hogg-IT sights. I am now working on getting the sight set up perfectly and then I will be working to get back to shooting long distances again.
My pattern for the colors is this. RED IN THE MIDDLE!
20 - Green (green is the easiest color for the human eye to see)
30 - Yellow
40 - Green
50 - Red
60 - Green
70 - Amber
80 - Green
