Sirui TY-70A quick release plate

The Sirui TY-70A Quick Release Plate features removable 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screws along with an anti-twist brass pin for use with most spotting scopes. Anti-friction rubber mats have also been added to the plate to prevent unwanted shift when adjusting the position of your tripod. The plate features a basic Arca dovetail design which allows it to fit most Arca-type clamps, tripod, and monopod heads. Sirui has also equipped this plate with its standard safety restraints, which prevent the plate from accidentally detaching when properly used with Sirui safety-lock heads.

      hate switching plates from binos to spotter, and now I don't need to. One more quality part of the system that makes me more efficient in field.

      Nothing to dislike here... their fluid pan is stable and smooth, and having this extra plate let’s me switch between the binocular mount for the spotting scope without tools. The plate is very well made, it glides inside the mount and locks down tight.

      The Sirui VA-5 that I got this plate for is incredible to say the least. However, something that blew me away, despite it being so simple, is this plate! It's most definitely the highest quality tripod plate that I've had the pleasure of using. The fit is perfect and changing between spotting scope and binoculars on the tripod is a snap. Another thing to add, as funny as this sounds, is it's also easy on the eyes. = )
