Title
Dead Center Arca Plate
The Problem You spot a monster buck through your binos, switch to your spotting scope, and now he’s gone because your optics weren't lined up. You waste precious minutes searching, or worse—he slips over the ridge.
The Fix The Dead Center plate fixes that. It gives you 6.5 degrees of tweak room. Crank the set screws up, down, left, or right until your binos and scope point at the exact same spot. Lock your tripod, swap your optic, and boom—your buck is right in the crosshairs.
Will It Fit Your Scope? Watch out, this doesn't work on everything. It won't work if:
-
You use an angled scope (angled scopes make you move the tripod anyway).
-
Your scope doesn't have a flat foot (just a screw hole).
-
Your scope foot has deep hollow pockets where the tweak screws land.
-
The center screw hole sits too close to the edge of the foot.
Bottom line: Works on straight scopes with flat metal .625" or 1" in front and behind the center screw.
