Works well

I paired this with the backcountry light tripod and it worked extremely well. All the knobs are easy to use and properly tension so its not flopping around but it can still move accurately. Held a 15x45 spotting scope without a problem and Im sure it could hold normal 85mms without a problem.

Backcountry Shooting

Bought this to shoot off in on backcountry hunts. Plan to swap out my glassing pan head to this ball head if time allows. Have this attached to the short center column from the Aziak bipod and my pan head to the tall center column. Will swap center columns for shot. Very quick and easy switch. Much easier to shoot off the ball head than the pan head.

Great head for rifle hunting

Used this head while on a recent whitetail hunt. My 10 year old son was shooting my custom .300 win mag with an MDT HNT26 chassis. The chassis secured firmly to the head and my son was able to take his first buck at 278 yards. I believe this is a game changer for youth hunters and anyone who wants a solid attachment to there rifle system. Looking forward to using this on future hunts this spring on bears.
