This should come standard with ever sight, even if the price of the sights would have to be raised a few dollars. So much better than a little allen screw.
Works great. It barely threads on before making contact with the dovetail bar. I shaved a little plastic off of the tip of the knob so that it threads on further before it makes contact with the bar. Works fantastically.
S&S has awesome prices and customer service. This sight knob is just that, what I will complain about it that, on the original BG dovetail mount, the divots are so close to the mount that it gets tight with only a couple threads engaged. This makes me nervous, I'd like more threads engaged for longevity.
As a dovetail knob, it's great.
Bought this, and a dovetail mount for my sight, mainly because I wanted an easier option to remove my sight when I put it in the hard case. Definitely a must!
Like the ability to have tool less removal of dovetail.
