The PROMINAR models TSN-773/774 have an XD objective lens with low dispersion properties to diminish chromatic aberration. The concave lens paired with the XD lens is made of glass with special dispersion properties to reduce the chromatic aberration to a further degree. Excellent product and as always excellent customer service from S&S. Did a lot of research on them and Kowa can't be beat for the price.

Impressive

After having the 554 for a couple years and being impressed with it I decided I needed a bigger spotter for scouting and hunts closer to the road. So far really impressed with it and as always can’t beat S&S on their service and prices!

Kowa 77

Had the chance to run the Kowa 77 side by side with a Swaro ATS 20-60x80 and it is quite significantly better. That wasn’t a secret though because Rob voiced that to me in a phone call before I even purchased it. I think my favorite part about the scope is the wide angle eye piece, I did not expect that but after some use it has proven to be a very nice feature. The glass is fantastic, provides great clarity and the 60x zoom is useable until about 10-15 minutes of legal light remaining. Very happy with my purchase, thanks to Rob and S&S Archery for the outstanding customer service.

Kowa 77, AWESOME SPOTTER

Blown away by this scope, and the amazing service that I always get from Rob. He is always so helpful and willing to give all the information possible. In this day and time when service has left so many industries, this company cares and strives to always give the best service. Had this scope side by side a swaro atx 85 this weekend and the clarity and field of view at full zoom, even if i i wasn't the owner of the kowa, i would have chosen the kowa in this comparison, and i love all my swaro glass as well. Just truly blown away with the kowa 77 and would highly recommend.
