Spot Hogg Wiseguy Archery Release

Amazing hair trigger comfortable neoprene wrap around the inside of the leather
This release is my favorite index style release, the hook doesn't tear up my D-loop and the trigger is light and precise. My indoor shooting scores have gone up dramatically since switching from a claw style cheap release. This is my second wise guy release and if you're smart you'll pay the few extra $ for the boa wrist strap
I was shooting a Scott Silverhorn that I liked. Fortunately I had a backup as my primary release spring broke and I found out Scott discontinued the Silverhorn. After reading countless reviews and comparison I landed on the Wiseguy. It is bigger than I'm used to but doesn't change my anchor point and the trigger is crisp. Folks were complaining about the trigger being too light but I didn't think so. I can curl my finger comfortably around the trigger and pull through the shot nicely. I'm using the nylon strap which has a quick adjusting buckle. I don't like that the buckle is plastic which is why it doesn't make 5 Stars.
Works perfect. I can see why they are used by the best. If you're thinking about it still you've already made a mistake. Think no more and make that purchase.
If you’re looking for something to help you get over punching your trigger, then look no further. Spot Hogg incorporated a feature within this release so that you may adjust the sensitivity of the trigger pull so you no longer have to muscle or punch your release. This, along with the fact that there is no trigger travel, and you’ll instantly notice a greater difference in your shots and groups.
I’d advise going for the rigid buckle option since you can adjust your strap to the same setting/hole every time allowing for a familiar feel and shot placement every time you shoot.
All in all, this is the best and only release I will shoot from here on out.
